Animal Kingdom Theme Park is in a huge complex, about five times as big as the Magic Kingdom, the first theme park in Disney World. Unlike the name suggests, this park isn’t a conventional zoo. Book a thematic resort on a Disney World hotels website to visit this park. Go through Disneyworld Hotels, Orlando Hotels or plan your Disney Vacations, for info as well as bookings in Disney World hotels online. Head to Kilimanjaro Safari for a great ride. Here, you have open-air safari vehicles which take you on a tour mimicking African safari. Animals such as rhinos, giraffes, elephants and hippopotamuses can be seen freely roaming about. You can shoot pictures of those wild animals going past by you. Then watch a 3-D movie Flik and Hopper. A Bug's Life is a hit with the tourists. There is a ‘Tree of Life’ which is 14-floor tall. It has around 300 animal carvings on it! You can then enter a time machine and head back 65 million years into past to watch the extinction of dinosaurs. Let the children into the boneyard where children can have a whale of a time. Kali river rapids takes you on a rocky ride on a boat on the the Chakranadi River. It will drench you in water. Undertake a Maharajah jungle trek to watch tigers and head towards Conservation station and affection section. Here a wildlife express train to Conservation Station teaches your young ones and you too about animal habitations throughout the world.

Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida has four major theme parks. The Magic Kingdom (Cinderella Castle), Epcot (Spaceship Earth), Disney-MGM Studios (the giant Mickey sorcerer's cap) and Disney's Animal Kingdom (the Tree of Life). The ones in the brackets are the emblems of these thematic parks. In addition, there are three water parks which are Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach and River Country and five golf courses. In Downtown Disney, there are quite a few dining places, shopping malls and other recreational centers. Disney World spans 47 square miles of area. It is two hours by car from Miami, besides, Orlando has its own international airport.
The best time to visit Disney World is from January to early February when the weather is simply great and the place is less crowded than usual. May is also a good time to visit Disney World when Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival is organized or in November month when Epcot Food and Wine Festival is hosted here. If you are visiting Disney World for the first time, avail Disney's ‘FASTPASS’ guest service. It saves you the time of standing in queues.

JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes is just a 15 minute drive away from all the Disney theme parks. Staff particularly in the front office is great. The quality of rooms was excellent. Food at Primo is fabulous, however the same at Citron was not of the same class.
Residence Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista has clean rooms. The suites are great and they have a kitchen complete with a refrigerator, microwave, and all other essential utensils. Places located close by are Universal Studio and Cirque Du Soleil. Pleasure Island is a perfect place to set the dance floor alight.
If you are looking to save money on lodging, try out Disney's Pop Century Resort. You couldn’t have asked for more. Walk through the large courtyards watching the different themes while listening to the music. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the check in is smooth and fast. Food is reasonable. Buses are available at regular intervals.
Wanna try something exotic? Check in at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Understandably extravagantly furnished, the lobby is has a rainforest theme complete with tropical plants, waterfalls et al. It definitely evokes the spirit of Hawaii. The pool is great and so is the food.

The largest theme park in the world, Walt Disney World was opened on October 1, 1971 in Lake Buena Vista, southwest of Orlando in Florida.
